This week has been a hetic week for unique web solutions with a number of projects making good progress. We are currently developing a brand new website for Polar I.t who develop insurance software solutions for a number of different sectors including household, commercial and motor insurance. As well as their brand new site we are also creating a forum for the company so potential and existing clients can ask questions and get answers as well as having open discussions about Polar I.T’s services. The site is close to completion and we will update the blog and let you know when the site is officially live.

There has also been some progress with the Buonissima Catering web site, we recently uploaded a under construction page whilst the company developed their text. We have now been advised to upload the full site as they now have new menu’s and some home page text. We will also be altering the template slightly to acheive maximum design affect.

The slr digital cameras site is also coming along nicely we currently have a holding page up whilst we develop the backend locally on our servers. This is making good progress but their is still along away to go - stay tuned for more information.

Recently unique web solutions has been embarking on a search engine optimization project, which we are pleased to annonce has been a success. We have been trying to climb the ranks in google for the following key words - web design gloucestershire. After much hard work and a complete new web design for our current web site. We have acheived third place for this term, with a bit more work we hope to achieve number 1 spot - which of course we deserve cause we work our butts off.

Today unique web solutions have been making good progress with our new improved content management system. We have successfuly built our web page creation although we have hit a slight stumbing block we expect this to be solved tommorrow.

The main issues resides with an include file function in php that for some reason un beknown to us will not work.

Hopefully this will be recolved tommorow and our new content management system will continue with its successful development.

Unique Web Solutions are currently working on a high end content management system (cms) to offer our customers the best in content management systems.

Content management systems allow our clients completed control over their website from uploading images to re writing text as well as adding new webpages to the site. This type of system has a number of benefits to customers the main benefits are having complete control over their own site without having to be a professional web designer. This also takes the need out of having to contact a web design company to update your site which can be timely and also costly.

With the release of the new GCSE for 2009 I am currently working on a new website for Nelson Thornes and AQA promoting their new courses. The site has a real nice feel it is done in a kid style with crayon brushes and a number of funky doodles. The site will be taking advanatage of CSS and the odd bit of JavaScript with a lot Flash to jazz up the web design.

Once the concept webdesign is completed I will post the jpeg on the blog.

after completing the concept web site for buonissima catering we have just updated the url with a holding under construction web page untill the company get their content ready. The under construction web page contains a contact form so clients can contact the company as normal, a brief introduction to the company along with the ability to download the companys menus.

So it is not just a holding page its a fully functional website all in one page!
